OUR STORY

Inspired by the magnificence of colored gemstones,

Plum Colors was founded in 2017 by two brothers. The office was established in Bangkok - one of the largest gemstones manufacturing and trading hub in the world.

For us gemstones are gifts from Mother Nature. Each one of them has a unique life path and is destined to be passed on with the story it carries through generations. Plum Colors is just one of the stages in the life of the gem. we shape and enhance it to highlight its existence, origin, and distinctive features. Once ready, the stone continues its journey with its new guardian.

We aim to make a difference in the jewelry industry by creating a space where high jewelry designers and gemstone collectors can procure high-quality colored stones at the most competitive prices. We focus on the beauty and quality of the stone, the price is an attribute that only meets it.

OUR WAY OF WORKING

We source our stones from Africa (mainly from Tanzania, Nigeria and Mozambique...), Burma and Brazil. Our suppliers are artisanal miners. Concerned about the ethics and social responsibility of our company, we ensure that profits go directly to local communities and artisanal miners.

Each stone is then entrusted to our partner cutting factory located in Bangkok. If the stone is a rough, the cutting is done from the beginning with a particular focus on achieving the most precise angles. If the stone is already cut, the lapidary will refine it to further enhance its precision and beauty.

Only when the gemstone has reached its highest level of quality and features, we present it to our customer at our office or at trade shows.
